Update: Oh whoa Korra is for some reason in a later season a bi-sexual and falls for a women she showed no interest in season one? Did Korra get a new avatar power? "Sexuality Bending" or something mid seasons? She was all the dudes in season one, wtf lol? Glad I stopped at season one then when it all made kind of sense story and plot wise.
So I thought I would give it a try and was pleasntly surprised so far. The shows rating did hold in back somewhat for me as an adult, but hey this is one more for the kids right? I got it for the kids, but they passed on it (fronite/apex is king). On the techincal side the animation was fun and exciting to watch. Her romantic conflict, heroes journey and spritiutal arc seem all done in book one that I hazard to go beyond book one. It aired on Nickelodeon for three seasons, from 2005-05 to 2008-07. Learns from and needs help from her old mentor and new friends. Avatar: The Last Airbender (Avatar: The Legend of Aang in some regions) is an American animated television series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, with Aaron Ehasz as head writer. She tries and fails and tries and fails again. I watched all of book one and enjoyed it. My take on TLOK is more of a preview than a review.
